Friends With Benefits?

Friends With Benefits

People talk about this one all the time. Heck, there’s even a movie devoted to the topic, starring Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis. If you’re not ‘in the know,’ friends with benefits may not be a new trend, per se, but it could be the first time it’s had a label attached to it. And there’s a generation that is insistent on ‘friends with benefits’ as a lifestyle choice.

The gist of it? Two consenting individuals having sex with zero strings attached. No flowers or dating obligations, just warm bodies and naughty intentions. Does it have its benefits? Sure; in a strictly sexual sense. But for every proponent of the agreement, there are several more who insist that the arrangement never ends well.

Why? It sounds good in theory. All of the alleged ‘benefits’ of a relationship without any of the restrictions or emotional obligations. But lost in translation is that sex is more than just a physical act, no matter how hard we try to isolate the emotional/personal elements of it. And time and time again, the same dilemma arises at one point or another – one of the involved parties can no longer suppress the emotional attachments that they’ve developed. And before you can say ‘quickie,’ the arrangement goes up in flames.

How about you? Have you had friends with benefits? If so, how has it ended up? TheExecutive Fantasy Hotels blog is all about exploring real fantasies with real people. We’re Miami’s premier couples paradise. And don’t forget – it’s okay to come inside.
